Re: Anyone here use packing cubes?

My husband and I happily use 3 medium navy eBags brand packing cubes and 3 small ones in turquoise since the summer of 2012. I think that I used an online coupon- check retail me not. I use the packing cubes while traveling and at home. I don't travel more than a couple of weeks a year. I really like them as they are a nice organizational tool. Packing is easier now. I am considering buying another set of each.

I use the smaller ones to keep socks and underwear from getting lost among the other clothing.

I have a three piece set from eBags (in red), and I love it. It is just so nice to organize your things this way.

I have the ones from ebags too. The set that contains a s, m & l. I use the s & m sizes the most and love them. Unless you are taking a really large suitcase for a long trip, the large sized one becomes too big and takes up 3/4 of a standard carry-on size. Happy packing!

I LOVE THEM....and use them all the time.

If you love close to a TJ Maxx or Marshall's they have the best prices for cubes. I use the space saver bags to pack my dirty clothes and keep them separated from the cubes. Also consider getting the new hard sided luggage. It's great that it open and you can keep your cubes on both sides of the luggage. They claim the most bed bugs are in the dresser drawers of hotels.

Re: Anyone here use packing cubes?

I use packing cubes from the Rick Steves web site. They keep my clothes contained so it's much easier to pack than doing everything individually, which may come unrolled during transport. They come in a pack of three, of varying sizes.

I never understood the vacuum-seal bags for traveling. I have some for storing clothes between seasons, but I don't use them for traveling. Of course, some people swear by them. I just never knew how they could always find a vacuum to compress everything on the way back from their trip. If you're in another country, for example, the housekeeper (what is the PC term?) may not understand what you're trying to say. But that's just me.
