I will never stop wearing jeans. I doubt the jeans makers are getting worried - LOL

Jeans sales were DOWN 6% last year...after years of growth.

There are always cycles in fashions. 6% isn't going to make or break anything.

Jeans will always be in style, always be in people's wardrobes - always.

Sorry, but these don't look like leggings to me. First of all, who wants pockets in leggings? Secondly, the legs are baggy on everyone. I would have been interested if they were true leggings that could be purchased S, M, L, etc. True numerical sizing is too risky on the Q.

Are leggings the *new* skinny jeans? Skinny and my name do not belong in the same sentence. Neither are a look I can pull off.

I hate, hate, hate leggings. IMO they should not be worn by adult women. When worn with a longer top, all I can think about is those Hanna Anderson dresses with leggings for children.

These pants sometimes are worn so tight, they look like tights. This look was in style about 20 years ago and unfortunally it's back. I don't care if someone is tall and thin or short and heavy, it's not a good look either way.

Once when I was shopping with my very young grandson right after Christmas. he asked me why the lady at the checkout in front of us was dressed like an elf. She was wearing leggings with an oversized top. She was indeed dressed like an elf.

Just my opinion, but shared by many others.

I love leggings, and they are essential for the longer tunic tops. The TSV is a loose fitting legging and they look fine with shorter tunics. Not what I need, so I'll pass. For those of you complaining about leggings, how do you wear tunics? I don't think they look right without slimmer bottoms. The longer the tunic, the slimmer the bottom.

Momcat- I wear tunics with slim leg pants. JJill has some nice slim knit pants, so does Lands End. I think it is great that D & C has leggings, I wear the bootcut ones, and I am glad that they offer the tapered leggings for those who like them. I would just like them to add another silhouette to the line...a slim straight leg.

I wear them all the time with my denim & co 2 pocket pants and they look very nice, thank you. There is nothing about a legging or skinny pant that is essential to my wardrobe.
