I really like tunic length and bf shirts, hope they never stop making them. I am not short or plus size and find them flattering on taller, slimmer gals. I don't believe they wear them to hide anything.
Interestingly enough when I posted a thread regarding trends; likes and dislikes, the majority of respondents said they didn't like tunic length shirts!
I wonder when the industry will get the message?
The industry is getting the message, women love tunic tops. They are aeverywhere. If tunic tops and bf shirts weren't selling extremely well, retailers wouldn't be selling so many of them.

Just because a few people on a thread here don't like tunics does not mean that the industry needs to stop making them. I am sure there are millions of women who DO like them and the reason the fashion industry in making them is because they are also selling them. Personally, I like most of them, depending on the fabric and style.
talk about extreme assumptions?! Who said anything about the industry canceling production? How about some options? Yes they're out there but these days the long length dominates and for the OP, I suspect, being plus sized makes it even more difficult since we're still operating on the assumption that covering it all up makes it disappear...

I think the message that the industry is getting is that people are buying the tops that they are producing. If their sales slow, they will change what they produce. A few people on a blog who don't like certain styles or item means very little. My point is lots of people like and wear tunics no matter what their size. As for options, good heavens, there are thousands of options for tops in all shapes, sizes, lengths, fabrics from hundreds if not thousands of retailers.
