First off, I am a 1X top and a pear shaped so I know what it is like to be PLUS SIZE. I just watched the Issac show and the "HOST" just keep putting herself DOWN THE ENTIRE SHOW.
The first one or two comments telling viewers how it looks on her, the color, etc was okay but then to continue on and on about "I don't look good in a lot of designer clothes, etc etc.
As a plus size, after a while it was like she was putting all PLUS SIZE people down, the constant comments. For example, if I am a size 12 and I'm talking to a 4X lady and I'm saying to her, I'm so big, I'm HUGE, that lady is also insulting the 4X person who is much BIGGER than them.
If you are not plus size, you might not understand what I'm saying and I know she might not have meant any harm. If what I have read is correct, most american ladies are a size Large and UP. So a large percentage of QVC viewers are plus size, so if you are a plus size host and you are insulting yourself, what are you saying about the viewer?
I know some plus size people feel the need to belittle themselves, I don't agree with that, I beleive in looking the best I can, I don't talk about my weight with people, I DON'T put myself down, if I lose weight (Great) but I don't think talking badly about myself to OTHERS.....HELPS the cause. Also, when you talk bad about yourself to others, guess what, it gives them the confidence to insult you, you give them the confidence to make remarks to you about your weight, etc. etc
Maybe it is just me, but I don't think all the negative weight comments were necessary.
I've been big ALL MY LIFE..... and long ago I said, I'm going to be the "MOST ATTRACTIVE" plus size lady you see, I'm going to dress in flattering ways for my size, I'm going to wear my spanx/slips etc and LOOK THE BEST I CAN!!!!!

Love your name by the way!
Not everyone is as self confident as you clearly are
All I can say is to keep your great attitude and don't take it personally; as I'm certain it isn't meant that way.

I did not know QVC had a plus size host.

Does this host have a name, as far as I know there is NO plus size host

Same here - sitting trying to think of a plus size host. One might be 'close' but ........that's the only one I can think of.

I could see someone mistaking Antoinella or Carolyn G for plus sized maybe? Not because they are but because they are larger than the other hosts?

I assumed the OP was talking about Antonella -- she often talks about herself in this way.

I have been a 2x in my life but mostly an XL and now am between a L - XL so I know exactly what you are talking about and have to respectfully disagree.
When I was a 2x (back in the day) there weren't designer clothing to choose from, and the only place in town to buy a larger size was at Lane Bryant's.... Meh., browns and blacks ... (those were my Mother's clothes).
It's still difficult to buy clothing because not everything Desiner looks good on someone larger depending on how they're shaped.
I happen to really enjoy the host that was on this morning, I find her "real".... far more real than other hosts doing the same thing. She has a wonderful shape, so today's special value looked good on her IMHO. But it wouldn't on me! Even at a smaller size, I still carry my weight around my middle and know this designer item would emphasize the area I tend to try and camoflague.
I did not once feel as you do while watching & listening to this host..... JMHO

At one point in the presentation, Isaac said to her "don't be so self-deprecating." I agree; she looked great in the yellow tsv.

I no longer watch QVC live often but the host who seemed to put herself down the most was Pat. I never heard Antonella do this.
To my eyes neither Carolyn nor Antonella are plus size ladies.
