Good morning everyone.  I just woke up and tuned into Leah, loving the green outfit she is wearing.

Cloudy here in NYC I do believe more rain is on the way so my grass and flowers will be happy and dancing today.

I had acupuncture scheduled later today but I think I will reschedule to next week.

Re: AM Style Chat August 17, 2024 7AM

Good morning, I am running around (in town) with a couple of friends this morning...shop, maybe lunch, not sure.  If I have time this afternoon, I want to go to the funiture store about 30-45 minutes away to decide on/purchase a new sofa.

I usually buy off the floor, but it seems that couches are either really long or short these days...max length I can use is 83" and I can live with 80"....which I cannot seem to find on the floor...which means I have to pick out fabric. Oh my the choices, it confuses my brain.

My husband continues to have issues, his ears are plugged but according to the ENT his ears are clear.  They prescribed a nasal spray and prescription form of claratin...and the claratin is out of stock at the pharmacy until Monday....he is very buggy. and has a hard time sleeping.

Hope everyone has a great day.

@Mom2Dogs Speaking of couches we are looking to buy a new couch for the livingroom and the basement with a bed.  I was wondering if there are higher couches out there, the older couches like what we have are low and at our age we need a higher one to get up and out of easier.

Your day sounds like fun! Enjoy and I hope you find just what you are looking for! Please let us know!

I'm very sorry your husband is having trouble!

After two doctor appts last week (checkups), it seems I still need to go back and have an ACTUAL appointment with my PCP and not a PA because if what I am experiencing is allergies, then I need a stronger antihistamine!

And since you mentioned an RX for Claritin, maybe that's what I will be able to ask for!

Good morning, y'all! Our temperatures have dropped a bit, along with the humidity, so I am one happy camper right now. Can't wait to get outside today to talk to the flowers. My night blooming cereus had 10 blooms on it yesterday! I didn't wake up this morning in time to see it in full bloom, any other day, I could've. Oh well, maybe another day.

Interested in the drape neck D&Co top but, with my lumps and bumps, modal isn't structured enough so will pass on that. I don't purchase Susan Graver so probably won't be looking at much today on the TV.d

Hope everyone has a great day. Remember, you don't always have to have a full day to be a good day, it's all relative.

Yes...it is rather embarrassing because I have discovered same..

trouble getting up from sofas....

It is time for me to up my light walking exercise because this is what has always kept my legs at least somewhat toned so I won't have such troubles!

I agree about the fabric clinginess!

Ordered some Kim Gravel thermal knit tops to try on...the one that is softest for me is the one with buttons at the cuff. But all of them have lots of body so don't show bumps.

@LTT1 - lol yes I  just received two pairs of sketches to start doing more walking.  Since the pandemic I work 99.9% from home.  Looking forward to walking to help my joints and everything else.  Hopefully I can get in more walking this week after the rain stops.
