LTT1, Thanks for your kind message.  Setting up a gym might be a good idea.  We miss going to our gym.  No furniture might be a good thing.  Easy to clean.

luvs2garden, hi.  My garden consists of 6 🍅🍅🍅 plants on the edge of the driveway.  Way too early for that job yet.

Goldengate & Bird Mama, hi

Snick's, it's a cleaning week around here.  On Thursday  I started to polish the kitchen cabinets and finished yesterday.  Not a bad job, just lots of elbow grease.  Today I am going to do the dining room set.  It always looks so nice when it's all done.

Lola, sorry that you can't sleep.  No wonder with all that you have going on.  Our schools have been closed for several weeks and the Gov has extended our self distancing day from April 24th for another 30 days.  No more school  prom, graduation as far as I know.

I am still ox ox, we have done our self quarantine for 5 weeks & have at least 5 more.  We only grocery shop one day a week and make it an in & out quickly.  Good luck to you and your DH on his upcoming retirement.

Yesterday was my sister's 60th birthday.  I ordered pizzas and breadsticks from her favorite place and met her at the pizza joint's parking lot when she got off of work.  She's wearing a mask and gloves, I'm wearing a mask and gloves and we're parked next to each other talking from our cars while waiting for the guy to come out of the lobby with food.

I wanted to hug her and we settled for something like this

Meadow, father, son, touch, shoulder, eye contact, portrait, model ...

When she got home we did a birthday video chat while eating our pizza.

@Tennesseegal

IMO, JC sizing usually runs small.

What I mean to say is that for me, I can count on shorter lengths...have not ordered pants from them in years....shorter rises/long legs (not me...the pants)

I still like their turtlenecks best because the collar stays up (tissue turtlenecks)

I rarely wear lots of mine b/c I used to send them to the dry cleaner and the chemicals irritate.

My beauty routine is pretty hard to do lately!

I keep forgetting steps!

But in a little while, I'm going to try coloring my own hair! Wish me luck with this! Giant experiment starting with a swatch.

? so if Amy R can present the TSV at home just the same as she can in the studio, why the need for her IN the studio

this quarantine thing is showing some "weak " points in the entire  QVC concept to me

one party is superfluous here,  question is which one

Good morning and thank you for getting us started!

I continue to have sleep issues, probably a combination of staring at screens all day and the break in.

On Thursday I called the police after hearing loud conversations outside at 11 p.m.  There were people walking around outside of our vehicles, and after having mine vandalized I jumped to look out the window.  There were people who don't live in the community double parked, they got out of the car and headed off on foot.  The lady parked the van in a space that is not for residents and walked off in their direction.

Then I went downstairs to get the non-emergency police number to follow their advice "if you see something say something."  While I was on the phone, the lady came from the opposite direction, got into the van, backed it up about 500 feet, picked up one passenger and headed up the drive to leave the community.  Then she was parked at the stop sign for a bit before she left.  Bizarre.  So the police came out and I showed them the Ring camera footage of people who don't live here, walking around cars, breaking up into smaller groups, etc. and leaving on foot.

Last night, our newest neighbors had "guests" outside of their house.  Although we have "stay at home" orders with directives not to be with anyone who does not live in the house, it does not seem to apply to them.  One of their guests had "bass" going on and off from about 11 until 2, and I think their outside party concluded about 4 a.m.  There were different cars, so I'm not sure how many "guests" they had.  BF was snoring, so he heard nothing, but I barely got any rest between 11 and 4.

I debated calling the police again for the noise violation.  We have an HOA, and they have already received warnings from the president.  They have at least three and maybe five children under the age of 5, and the open the door and let them run around unsupervised.  I don't know if three of them are triplets, or just "stairstep" children/Irish twins.  Anyway, today I am feeling bleary eyed and less than neighborly.

here the police take all this seriously, and the next town over has a "call and report #". NJ won't tolerate any of this

of course we are the epicenter of the outbreak,  when your state has people dying every day might be a different story

I know that this must break your heart.  Michigan has been hard hit.  Tennessee will be starting to re-open in May.

Yesterday we rode to the next town (Scarsdale) we sat outside of the great bakery drinking cappuccino and munching on amazing cookies. B went to pick dinner at the local fish house, hearts of palm, salad, tuna poke bowl and a crab cake, which we accompanied with a nice rosé, I felt almost human again, and dessert was a piece of apple crumb that he picked up at the bakery
