When BF's father was in the hospital, a framed painting fell off the wall and hit his mom on the head.

The hospital management came by and asked if she was okay and offered her a chicken salad from the cafeteria as a way to say they were sorry.

In other news, the CC that arrived is the exact same number, but "updated" for contactless pay, so I didn't have to change all of my accounts.

The phone number that I changed to a few weeks ago was apparently owned by a man named Cedric, who seems to have a few bill collectors looking for him, so my phone is blowing up all day long with texts and voicemails looking for him.

Nothing is ever easy.
