I've been shopping for a tv and initally thought I'd try a plasma, however, the stores don't have nearly the selection of plasmas as they do lcds and leds. It could be since they're made in mostly larger sizes.
ETA: One sales person swears by the plasma and another totally advised against them.
Any thoughts if plasmas might be their way out?
Also I don't typically buy any extended warranties but since they don't build things like they used to it has me thinking perhaps I should purchase one.
I was tv shopping yesterday and one store had an extended warranty for $199 which I thought was high, however, it a was full coverage warranty for 5 yrs. not pro rated one.
I know it's a personal choice but just wondering if anyone purchases the extended warranty for the tv or you just take your chances?
