Hi

I have a big problem and I am hoping I can get some help......

My husband bought me the Acer Lap Top, Aspire 7250-0209 computer with the 17" screen. I wanted a very basic computer, easy to use computer and that is what I got.

I have it about 6 months. About 2 weeks ago, a window started and now continues to pop up. It informs me that Acer has a known compatibility problem with Microsoft Windows. My jaw dropped.

I followed ALL the instructions perfectly until I got to the last step. Why? It stated that I needed to go to a site to finish and most likely get rid of the problem. As I was writing down everything I did, another little window popped up warning me if I went to this other site, the last instruction, it would "ruin" my computer.

Now I am starting to have more problems....I can be on site and it will jump to another site, one I used or ones I had never been on, the page keeps rolling, etc. The Biggest problem Is, case in point, If I am on QVC and I see an item I would like to read, if I tap the picture or point my arrow to the item to open it up so I can read the information on this item, read reviews, instead of opening the product info the page my page goes blank. I try to refresh, I hit the arrow again, nothing happens. I open another tab and put the Q's address. I get back to the item and once again, I hit the arrow and the page goes completely white. If I want to go to my order status, I move the arrow to the tab and hit, my page goes blank, pure white. Now this morning I did my banking without a problem and came back top qvc to take a look at this item and it still happens. It happens all over the place. now. Glad I got my bills paid, LOL!!

Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any idea what this compatibility problem is? I called QVC customer service and I got a number but no one answers. I hope I made myself clear....I would really appreciate any help, thoughts or suggestions before I throw this piece of junk in the trash!!! If anyone has the time, I really need help.
