I always liked a mouse.  However, I mostly use my laptop (on my lap, mind you!), so I strictly use the touchpad.  It took some getting used to, but I'm fine with it now.  (My laptop is a MacBook Pro.)

Re: touchpads or mouse

[ Edited ]

I HATE using touchpads. One morning I was working from home and realized I left my mouse at the office. I used Amazon Prime to deliver a new mouse to me before noon - that's how much I hate the trackpad. Even when I go into a meeting with someone else, I grab my wireless mouse so I won't have to use the trackpad. I'm much less efficient when I have to rely on the trackpad.

Everytime I think I'll try the touch pad again, for years, it's back to the mouse, somehow just cannot manage the pad, but my grands can, maybe you have to be young

I have a mouse on my desktop at work, but on my home laptop I still use the touch pad.  I'm used to it now.......I have more problems with that flat keyboard (and my longish nails) than anything else!
