last name to facebook?  i see where it has edit about you and all those things, but can't seem to locate how to change my last name.

I just put my maiden name in parentheses and added last name.

go to general account settings. (the drop down menu button is next to the ? quick help button)

click on name

edit as needed

If you change your name on Facebook, you can't change it again for 60 days. Don't add any unusual capitalization, punctuation, characters or random words

To all this helpful information, I'd like to add this:

If you want to add a nickname, maiden name, etc., 

-- Go to your own Facebook Timeline page

-- Click/tap the word "About"

-- Select "Details About You"

-- Under "Other Names" click/tap "Add a nickname, a birth name..."

-- Choose the "Name Type"

-- Click "show at top of profile" if you want it displayed at the top of profile next to your usual Facebook name

-- Be sure to save changes.
