I have bought apps that are on my Samsung phone. When I get a new phone, do I have to buy them again? Or do I transfer them from my old one to my new one? Or will it show that I've bought them and I will just download them on my new phone?

With Apple, you can download them directly from iTunes. They show up as being purchased. I'm not sure about where you bought yours.

This is for your S2 to sync contacts and apps to your Gmail account.

When you setup your (Note 3) phone to your current Gmail address the contacts and apps should appear in your new phone automatically.
