I have a HP laptop- it's been very dependable and reliable. My cat loves to sit on my lap (I swear he was a dog in a former life!) and occasionally inches his way onto the laptop keyboard. He did tonight - and all of a sudden the images on the laptop screen flipped upside down! I can't figure out what key he might have hit - and I tried to research it on line with my other computer. I cleared the cache and defragged already- logged off and restarted, nothing changed. Anyone ever have this happen?

It happened to me once so I looked it up again.
Hold down CTRL, ALT, and the UP arrow key at the same time

Thank you, CTRL, ALT, and the UP arrow key at the same time worked perfectly!
It's so crazy to think that my cat must have hit ctrl, alt and the down arrow key simultaneously.
I love my kitty dearly, but sometimes......
My other cat actually once pushed the '1 click ordering' button on Amazon - prime yet!

I couldn't believe it when I read your post!! The exact same thing happened to me two days ago. I called my daughter for help, no luck. So, I knew the internet answered every question imaginable, so I asked and there was the answer!

Yep, Dell computers do that, too. Probably anything with a Windows OS will, but I don't know that for sure. I've done it by mistake and, for a while, it was the office prank for people to do it to others, so I've had it done that way, too.

I couldn't find any answers on HP's website- I'm glad I thought to come here!
