I don't have a Windows computer anymore and didn't realize you must go through Windows update for this. What a pain.

Yeah, total pain! From Windows8 on, the Adobe Flash Player is imbedded in Internet Explorer and the ONLY way to update it is to wait for the applicable Windows Update to come to your computer. Lame!
Chrome has its own, so it's caught in periodic Chrome updates.
The other Adobe products, however, can be manually updated.

Please read the Security Bulletin. It will give you install directions for Window and Mac products.

Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 will do an automatic update.
I never never knew that Chrome had separate updates. How do you check for them? I know that if you inadvertently picked up the Silverlight Program; MS's version of Adobe Flash, there's a critical update for it from MS right now. I have no idea how this Silverlight crept into my computer. THESE TYPE OF PROGRAMS ARE SUBJECT TO RANSOMWARE.

Adobe recommends users of the Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime for Windows and Macintosh update to 21.0.0.213 via the update mechanism within the product when prompted [1], or by visiting the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.
Chrome Browser: Adobe Flash Player installed with Google Chrome will be automatically updated to the latest Google Chrome version, which will include Adobe Flash Player 21.0.0.213 for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Chrome OS.

Thank you you so much. I had no idea that Chrome had separate updates until I saw this post. I'll have to catch up. You know, I spend half my time updating these days. There are HP updates, MS updates, MCCaffe updates and now Chrome! This is why I'm on my iPad more and more. It's becoming a nuisance.
