UPDATE: Microsoft is taking their time in fixing this problem. In short, use another browser or get a new computer with Windows 7 or above if you can.

After 12 years with my old XP, I got a new Dell (Windows 7) and love it!!! I don't know why I waited so long. My XP was soooo slow and the only browser that worked with it was Chrome.

I was mad when I learned Microsoft was stopping all updates with XP, but it forced me to upgrade and make a change that has made my life easier and more enjoyable. I've heard nothing but bad things about Windows 8. I got Windows 7 and it's great. They said Windows 7 is good for the next 10+ years. By then, perhaps they will have something better than 8. Even the IE 11 is great to use and so efficient.

My advice is to upgrade and not have to worry about XP anymore. It's run its course. You are so vulnerable to attacks and viruses.

You can still get some good prices on Windows 7 desktops at Dell. That's how I got mine for under $700.
