Re: Windows 10 update problems - Need advice and help

I am back to Windows 8.1.  At least I can get to the Internet.  I will wait a bit and make a decision.  Perhaps I will get a new computer or perhaps I will get help getting Windows 10. What I saw I liked.  However it would have been nice not to be stuck in Airplane mode.  Luckily I could go back and finally fix the connection to the Internet.

I got my update from windows and or microsoft... it is a small square icon on the right side of the computer. I have two computers both laptops one is a two year old Toshiba which I updated over 7 thousand updates which spun around for hours until I had to reset my computer and hide the dreaded win10 . My other computer is a brand new HP which it did not load  on either. I am glad of that. I installed win7 on both my computers and it works just fine.  I dont need all that new technology and from the reviews [not here] more bad then good. And both my computers should have worked with this new windows program. No need to figure that out Windows stinks!

Not to be snarky, but so should you, since the OP never said she did this upgrade through an email.

Just sayin'.......

Re: Windows 10 update problems - Need advice and help

If you have an HP computer, they have a site for help with Windows 10.  It is hp.com/windows10.  Some other brands might have similar help sites.
