I remember those dreaded updates. So glad I decided to get Chrombooks just love them. And they update themselves. No issues with anything.

Is that right ? Have to look into that option. Your not associated with

windows, at all  ?

I've been tied to Windows for so long, got a Apple mini cube , love it

drop kicked Windows, still have them on 2 laptops, but, hubbo is bellowing we're gonna have to completely say P on them.

I'll research Chromebooks hope they aren't as pricey as Apples

That is right! Once I got my Chrombook I never looked back. They are not expensive at all. I never need virus protection because it is built in with the computer. I will tell you this we do have the play store now on these devices but, chrome books are not made for playing games. Games work out all right by the graphics are not as good as a windows device. That is fine with me because I use the chrome book for everything else. They are fast and snappy and easy to navigate through, once I learned the settings I was good to go. Also chrome books update quite often and are always up to date with what is new. Updates take a second. And also on opening the chrome book it opens in less then a second. Unlike windows with its bugs, lagging and glitches. These devices are getting better and better. I have been away from a windows device for four years now and I will never get another one I do not miss them at all. Right now Chrome books come in two sizes 11 inch and 14 inch we have both. And all the major brand names carry them. Happy shopping!
