I am 71 (very healthy) and currntly in a longterm disagreement/lively discussion with my husband about staying in our current home or looking for something that has less up keep...He is not able to help with yard work and and I am growing weary of the work....I do enjoy working in the yard and it helps keep me busy but I am thinking ahead when possibly I am alone...the discusion continues for us..me talking him listening with one ear, but not a lot of input.

I feel resentment seeping into my soul.

@Carmie   I have tried that product, sorry, I cannot remember the company name, but I think it was a well known brand..maybe Fuller Brush??

 Anyway I don't think it did a great job.  Possibly if I would have dried the windows myself I would have been happier....for now I do all by hand and my windows tilt in for easy cleaning, which helps.

For everyone that can continue to keep their windows clean without help, the WinBot is likely not needed.

I realized a few years back I need extra help with hard cleaning.  

Since I don't want to hire outside help yet, I'm looking for other avenues.  

I recently bought "Wet and Forget" shower cleaner because of this.

So not to make anyone here to feel they need to purchase something they won't/don't need at their time of life, but I wanted to share what I'm doing now...the best I can... to keep our house clean.

I have never heard of these before.  How do they stay on a window without falling down?  How about the exterior on the second floor?

I also was wondering how that thing would stay stuck to the window, but it does.  Suction, I guess...like a vacuum.

Our experience on all our windows never had that WinBot fall off.  

When it was finished, it told us and we took it off with no problem.

Seriously, I'm amazed at this.  (But I'm Gen X, so...)

Well, I'm just here to say that I love anything technology related, so it was interesting to read this thread.  One never knows when they might need something like this.

I bought the window bot mostly to clean the outside windows on my second level where I have, in the past, climbed a ladder to clean them. That's just not happening any more. It's too dangerous especially with my weak bones now. But as far as cleaning the interior windows, I can do them manually with no problem. I just can't climb ladders to do the outside. That's where I'll put the bot to work. I can't wait for it to get here!

@SilleeMee  We are 76 and 78 and bought one last year to do our sliders and windows. It works well and doesn't streak. We saw one that our friends had and it was really slick in how it cleaned their tall windows.

Thanks for your review of the bot. Sounds great! I'm still waiting for mine to get delivered.  There have been two delays in the shipping. Should have been here today but...
