It use to be that there was an icon to click on to check your spelling when you were posting something. One day it wasn't available, I miss it.

Are you seeing the red-underlines on misspelled words? If you are, then you need to right click on the underlined word to get the list of possible words. If you aren't even seeing the underlines, then the problem is probably with your browser settings, but I don't use IE so can't help. I use Firefox.

I use Google Chrome and it works. Like others have said, it will show up in red and you have the option to change it.

The mis-spelled word will be underlined in red. Right click on the word to select the correction. Sometimes you will get a choice of different words to select.

I'm using IE11 & it works for me. It corrects spelling as you type or underlines the word in red when misspelled. You can right click for correct options as Buck-I-Nana posted above. Type in a word misspelled & watch as it corrects it.

I almost always use Firefox and it underlines the misspelled words with a red line. Right click on it and it gives you several spellings to choose from for your purpose.

tried logging in with IE10 and got the same,

perhaps update to the most current browser?
