If it were me, I'd go with Samsung.

 

I have my second Samsung phone and they've been great.   I don't do the burner phone thing, but I would imagine the quality would still be good. Smiley Happy

Samsung makes the chips in Apple phones so I don't think you can compare that way.  You need to compare it based on the operating system you prefer.  Android or OS?  That should be the first determining factor.  If you decide on Apple, you have nothing else to consider as Apple is the only manufacturer for Iphones.
