I was in Walmart today & the Nook counters were clear. Then thinking back I didn't see them on any shopping channel before Christmas or since. I did see a B&N Christmas commercial over & over. Glad I went with Kindle.

Pink, I don't know about WM, but they were still at our local B&N last Sunday.

I don't know if they went anywhere but a couple years ago when I first got the original Kindle..I researched and went with Kindle as I was iffy on the Nook and how long Barnes and Noble would be around.

I know many said the Nook like would be maintained online even if the store failed, closed, entered into bankruptcy etc..but I didn't want to take that chance of less support, less access to new things etc..so I too went with the Kindle..and now Kindle Fire HD..I am glad I did.

Was in Target today, lots of Nooks available there. Same at the B&N store the other day. Don't think they went anywhere.

Maybe you have it mixed up but Walmart just recently announced they would no longer be selling kindle....
