@LoveMyBaby posted some info about online shopping stats.  This raised a question for me.

Are you more likely to get hacked shopping with an app than a browser?  I ask because most people I know who got hacked did so from an app.

Anyone know?  TIA.  LM

@Lilysmom  I use an app when shopping at Amazon. I use a browser when shopping anywhere else. I use PayPal for most online transactions. I shop at home using a tablet.

No, This app makes shopping easy.  I have some security layers in place to feel safe buying on Amazon. 

In the future, I plan to start using a VPN.

You have to develop your own online security plan.

I always shop on my laptop and never use apps for shopping.  I rarely use apps for anything.

Same here.  My phone is too small, my iPad is too old and my desktop is just right.

I never use an app for shopping, or anything else for that matter. I always go to my big screen desk top to do my shopping there. I like looking at stuff on the big screen...makes the shopping experience more enjoyable that way for me.

I never shop by using an app anywhere.  To be honest, in the grand scheme, I use very few apps overall. 

To shop, 100% through the browser.
