Re: Tracfone not lighting when call comes in

Update: ordered new phone. Spent 1/2 hour waiting for Tracfone and the phone now lights up but cuts off the call after a few rings. LOL

Re: Tracfone not lighting when call comes in

I've been looking into alternatives to Tracfone.  Unlimited text, phone calls, data, and mobile hotspot.  If you have 4 people in a group (don't have to be related) it's 25$ per month - each person is billed separately.  There are several online groups a person can join if they don't have 4 people. The biggest one is through Michaelsaves and is over 1000 people at this point - he also has a good review of the plan. You can also check your existing tracfone to see if it's compatible.

The michaelsaves website comes with a safety warning for me, so be careful if you go there. It's listed as an https site, but isn't listed as safe in the Edge browser. I'd be very nervous sharing any information like a credit card number there.

Visible is interesting. They are part of Verizon. I had doubts as they're headquartered in Colorado, but Verizon does claim them as part of the company. They offer a very good monthly rate, but their phone prices are a bit out there. I can buy the Motorola G Stylus 5G for $129.99 on eBay (directly from Tracfone/Total Wireless) for Total Wireless, but the same phone through Visible is $364. That pretty quickly offsets the $7.50 in monthly savings over Total Wireless. Even in the $25 party pay plan, it would take a while to offset the $234 difference in phone pricing. Still, Visible is a neat option in the lower-end of the market in terms of plan value. Especially if you have/buy an unlocked phone.
