When is Q going to get the 16 and/or 32 gb of internal storage.  8 GB is not nearly enough since half of it is used by system needs and pre-installed apps which can't be moved to an sd card. HSN has a a number of phones with higher storage (and higher prices to match) and it makes all the difference in the world.

Re: Tracfone internal storage

@Irishpat1944 - I agree.  I bought the TSV Tracfone from last month and love it.  But, as I was playing around on it I noticed that there wasn't much storage left.  As you said, half of it is taken up by the system.  Maybe I could delete some of the apps I don't use, but I don't want to delete stuff and then be sorry.

Just like all electronics that on the market, going back to the 1960's. You wait long enough the prices will come down. Some people, like myself, prefer paying more to get the features I want to use sooner rather than later. I am also about as frugal person as you will find.

You can find a Tracfone with more internal memory/faster processor and a newer Android version. You just have to pay more for a phone that has more, or stick it out till the prices comes down.

I had a friend that wanted HD television, but? He always wanted the latest/newest of them all. I told him over and over again, you will never have any such thing as electronic technologies change by the day at times. He died still waiting for that latest/greatest, and still had his old Standard Definition when he died.

Sorry, I have working with electronics since the mid 1950's, and that is the way it rolls. Want 16g internal memory now? There is a phone on a network with that feature right now, it is up to you how bad you want that feature. JMO,

Re: Tracfone internal storage

I installed a 32 GB microSD card on our new LG Premier phones, when I activated them a couple of days ago.  Seems to be working fine for us and we don't need any more than that.

Granted, if a newer phone came out with that kind of internal memory already installed, I'd probably upgrade.

Re: Tracfone internal storage

I have A Tracfone LG Power and I have plenty of storage for my needs - I don't store pictures on my phone - I move them to my computer, and I clear all my texts out every few days so they aren't wasting space. As John said - it is available out there for a price - what is it worth to you?

Re: Tracfone internal storage

Hi, just seeing you post. Does the micro SD card slide in on top of the SIM card? I am so nervous to insert the SD card, I worry I will somehow mess up and start getting the  dreaded Bad Sim card errors so many are writing about.

You should be able to find this answer with a Google search.

Re: Tracfone internal storage

@Irishpat1944, I sure agree with you.  I have a fairly new Samsung Core Prime Tracfone and I am unhappy with the small amount of storage.  I am always getting notifications that the storage is full.

I will have to delete all my texts, etc. to get more room.
