I am on my 5th Tracfone in about 12 years. Started out with a slide phone - then a flip phone and then 2 LG smartphones and finally just purchased a Samsung galaxy luna from QVC2. when they had it as a big deal.I absolutely love the Samsung. Much nicer than the LGs were.I have no problem with tracfones at all. As a retiree I find it totally satisfies my needs, and you can't beat the price. I keep my ttracfones an average of about 2 years. For me the data/min /text lasts that long - I do have to buy a years time. Still only costs me well under $20 a month for the 2 years.

For @Carmie, and anyone who mentioned having to buy one year of service days for over $50, I want to let you know that I have bought, from Tracfone online), an extension of 365 service days only, for $50.

I did not buy a new phone this year, but I did extend my service for one year for the $50 in September this year.

I never buy an extension for service days.  I always buy 400 minutes with 365 day expiration date. And I usually pay between $40 and $50 for It from e-bay.  I find the Tracfone website too expensive.

i purchased a whole new phone for my DH for $49.95 that came complete with 1350 minutes, texts and internet time.  It also offers triple time when we Purchase more.

$50 to just to extend the service days  seems too high for me.  I am super cheap.  I average about $4.00 a month for my Tracfone and service and I have never run out of time.
