OK this is a really dumb question...HSN has phones which come with bundles and 2 of them (Pandora and Lifetime Movie CLub) must be canceled or you will be automatically billed.  Now if you never sign up then you don't need to cancel, correct? Just want to be sure this is not automatic once you activate the phone.

You have to sign up for these promotions. The companies will need billing info to provide service after the free trial.

I'm pretty sure you have to give them your billing information even to get the free trial. They will require it so they can automatically bill you for services if you have not notified them that you don't want to continue. I think a lot of promotional offers are sneaky that way.

I buy all of my tracfones from HSN and QVC - the value is so good I don't bother the the promo offers. I just toss them...
