You can find data,text and phone minute cards in stores. I needed just data, there are NO cards in stores. I went to 5 different stores. I went online and bought a data only card, 1 GB for $10.00. Thought I would let y'all know. 😊 Shoulda gone online first. LOL.

I buy data card time on e-bay. It's really easy.  I just send my phone number to the seller and the data is automatically added a short time later, usually within a hour.

i buy all my Tracfone call time, text and date cards on e-bay too.  I can usually find great deals.

I always buy through the Tracfone website to get the triple minutes in the "pay as you go" category.    I'm electronics-challenged, going to the store to buy would blow my mind -- so many choices.

@Barbarainnc - can you tell me how you get it online?  I see it only as an "add on" when you buy minutes - how do you get it individually?  Thanks in advance!  Target has the data cards also back in the electronics section.

I don't know why they're not in stores near you, but they're not just available online. When I get the text-only cards, the data-only are right next to them at every Walmart and Target I've been to. Same with supermarkets. Also, the Walmart Wireless Store within Walmart superstores have them hanging on the wall with oth other carriers' cards. All of which is great for me, because I don't care to purchase anything through the TF website.

Then select SERVICE ADD ONS and you will see a selection to make a data only purchase

If you want more than 1 GB just change the quantity on the checkout screen

I just went to buy airtime minutes, then up came add on section, click on 1 GB Data Card. enter credit card info and they will add the data to your phone.

Just buy it through your phone..What could be easier?
