No...because to activate the phone you must either get a new number, or port the one you are using. After you have used the phone for two months, you already have your new number on it. The only way to keep the number would be to shut down your old service and at that you will still have to see if they will let you keep the number. Just get a new number on the tra cphone, it isnt that much of a problem.
