She also doesn't know the difference between spelling and grammar.  But, I am now thinking we may be too harsh with her, perhaps English is not her first language.

@Travone Excuse me I am born and raised in NYC, I have spoken since I am 6 months old, you are really good at hurling insults aren't you

It is extremely rare you post without spelling errors.    Look at your title..."Stange" instead of "Strange"

You do no proof read before hitting the submit button.  If you do, then you may have Dyslexia.

@CoffeeNut Thank you Doctor of insults, is there ever a time you can hold off insulting me.

@I am still oxox

I was not trying to be rude to you.  I was trying to make sense of the errors in your posts.  I have no way of knowing, where you are from, your background, or your education level..... nor do I care, as it is not my business.

I did find it comical that when writing about spelling errors you had so many in your post.  Perhaps you were trying to be funny?  I don't know, and again I do not care.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.  Don't sweat the little things.

I doubt that, @Travone.  Maybe you haven't noticed, she's never wrong. Everyone else is.

@JeanLouiseFinch I never said that, I type very fast and do not proofread, it is not important to me, that is.

@I am still oxox   I'm only trying to be helpful.  You have an extremely bad attitude.  Once again, you post asking for help and you shoot down every response.  Then your thread goes off the rails.   Remember the time you called us all "Suspicious old hags" on another one of your threads because you didn't like the responses.

I sure do.

Re: Stange spell check issue

I don't think spell check is your issue.  Proofreading is your issue.  Grammar is your issue.  Your attitude is your issue.

@CoffeeNut I have a word of advice if you do not like my posts do not read them, what you think is helpful is very insulting. End of my participation in this thread

Re: Stange spell check issue

I use an iPad with Safari, so your issue may not be the same as mine.

But mine is more the fault of the predictive text or auto correct feature than spell check.  It predicts or corrects the word you type even if your word is the one you want.  There are three choices above the keyboard and often when I type the word I want, it changes it to one of the other two choices.  I have to then go back and type the word again😠 in order for it to show up on the screen the way I want it.  Oftentimes the word(s) the iPad chooses make no sense in my sentence.

Yes, I know I can turn off these features, but my own spelling has gotten so bad over the years it would be even worse.☺️  So I live with it.🤷‍♀️

@I am still oxoxYou may not care but just keep in mind it makes you look uneducated.  Every single post always has spelling errors, sometimes grammar errors also.  I proofread because I take pride in my communication, it reflects on me.  Some spelling errors slip by but its not persistent.
