Does the LG Treasure have a SIM card?  I inserted a SD Micro card from my Alcatel into a slot that I think is designated for it.  I can't  locate what they call a SIM card; I guess it is transferable?

Did you phone come with a manual? That should explain this. If not, I recommend doing a Google search for LG Treasure (version) manual. I found several links to manuals, but since I don't know which version of the LG Treasure you have, I don't know which manual would be right for you. You can also go directly to mylgphones dot com and search there.

Yes it comes with a SIM card.

Installing the SIM card and battery
Insert the SIM card provided by the service provider, and the included
battery.
WARNING
Do not insert a memory card into the SIM card slot. If a memory card happens to be lodged in the SIM card slot, take the device to a LG Service Center to remove the memory card.
NOTE
Only the nanoSIM cards work with the device.
To remove the back cover, hold the device firmly in one hand. With your
other hand, lift off the back cover with your thumbnail as shown in the
figure below. Pic did not show up.

The LG Treasure they sold on HSN was the LGL51AL. The LGL52VL & LGL51AL from what I understand is the same phone. The one sold on HSN works with AT&T & the other model works with Verizon.
