Help! I don't know if I should get the new IPAD2 or a notebook! I have a computer in my home office I use for 'important' things, but I want to be able to sit in front of my tv upstairs and just 'play with something'.

My son-in-law who has a Masters Degree in electrical engineering wants me to get the IPAD. He has one and loves it.

However, I like to type and type very fast (100 years ago I was a secretary). My late husband always wanted me to write a book and I've been too lazy (still am). However, I would at least like to attempt to try it.

That is why I think the notebook (small size) with keyboard would make more sense for me. I still would be able to get on the internet and have it show up in the flatscreen (I know, I'm being silly).

You ladies know a lot about a lot of things. I realize that there are a few gentlemen who get on here sometimes also and I don't mean to leave you out!

My son-in-law put in wireless for me, so that makes it easy. I actually get on the internet with my small IPOD, but as I am pretty old, it is difficult to see it!

Please give me some of your advice and why you think I should get one of those or even something else. I will definitely consider all that you say.
