Hi there,
Believe it or not, I bought my first ipod a few weeks ago. I'm just dipping my toe into the high tech market...yes, ipods are high-tech to me. I'm trying to catch up and will be getting a smart phone in the next couple of months. Don't laugh at me!!
Anyway, the ipod was easy to get my songs onto but, holy cow, is it ever loud!!!! Not sure what's up with that. My co-worker got one to replace her old one. When she uses hers at work I can hear every song that's playing!! I do NOT want to blow my eardrums out, I'd like to preserve my hearing. I've gone thru the menu list and there's nothing about any kind of volume control. Even she wasn't able to find anything like that and she's happy with her volume - b/c she's hard of hearing. Hhmmm, wonder why!!
This ipod is certainly not one of the high-end models. We got them on ebay for $12.50 each. I think they're 4G and shakeable, whatever that means. It's basic and that's all I need.
If anyone knows how to tone them down, I'd be super appreciative!!! TIA
