You're welcome, @MKR14. I agree, there are wonderful posters here, and you, @Preds, and @shell garden are great examples of that.❤️ I hope you feel better soon and that you won't need the additional procedure. Take gentle care of yourself. (((hugs)))
@dooBdoo is our DOLL BABY! Lubs ya.

Thanks for the well wishes. Unfortunately with the type of pancreatitis I have it has it's ups and downs. It's all about your attitude on how you get through it ![]()
The vents on the side of the HP computer are great. The Cool Sense is the way the fan turns on and off and not the side vents. It is great to have the side vents and many are on the bottom of the computers and that is why they overheat. The computer was great and I could have lived with the gold color. I think I wished I had the 17" instead of the 15". I will order the 17" the next time. I will be keeping my eye out for a new one.
My Shih-Tzu ( my avatar here) is also having more enlarged heart problems.
She has been having trouble breathing at night. She laid her head on my pillow next to me last night. That breaks our heart but she knows we are here for her. We were going to put her to sleep last week but she started getting a little better. Then twice this week she was bad again. Today she was better so we are going day by day. All of us animal lovers know what I mean. She is tough like me. She will be our last pet.
I did like Windows 10 Creators version. Every day my Toshiba( now 5 years old) gets even slower. I did learn a lot and know I will enjoy the touchscreen also. I was amazed at how light the new computers are. I keep mine on my computer desk so I would enjoy the 17".
I know you must be excited. I am for you. Keep us posted! 🙋🏻😊

@MKR14...I am sorry you are having difficulties healthwise and hope you get better soon.
I am also sad that your little shih ztu is having breathing problems. I have a little shih ztu too...she is 10 years old and the love of my life. I know it will come a day that she will need to leave me for a spell, but I hope she will be with me for a few more years. My last dog was 17 & 1/2 years old and it broke my heart when I had to have him put to sleep.
I hope you reconsider about getting another dog when the time is right....I am an animal lover and can not imagine NOT having one with me.
I do hope you get your computer that you want very soon. Like I said keep watching the TSVs or ODOs...either here or at HSN. I know you will find one you love. I'm glad you were able to play around with the WIN 10 and love it.
Yes, my laptop now has the vent at the bottom, but with this new one, it will be on the side. Have a great night ahead and let's keep in touch.

Good news this morning. Precious slept much better last night. She was shaking from her problem but I kept her really close and she finally went to sleep. We actually got a total of 5 hours sleep off and on. Precious has a little receiving blanket that used to be my grandsons and it gives her comfort being snuggled in it.
I appreciate all the good thoughts as my heart breaks for others here that have gone through the same thing. She is 12 1/2 years old. Our other Shih-tzu lived to be almost 14. Precious also has a mitral valve problem, pancreatitis and her enlarged heart so we are blessed for every day we have her. I am 68 and my husband is 71 so there will be no more pets for us. We will enjoy all our friends instead as it is getting harder to be up off and on during the night with my own health issues. I also have the mitral valve problem, pancreatitis and A-Fib. My husband said Precious takes after her mother.
I never knew pets got pancreatitis until Precious was so ill after she had been a victim several years ago of a dog food recall. Thank God we have had her as long as we have. We pray every day that she continues to enjoy her days left with us.
Have a good day everyone.
Bless the ones in the storm areas.

@MKR14.....GREAT NEWS. Your baby is not ready to leave her mommy yet. She has a few more years on her still, so you might as well prepare to keep pampering her, cause she demands it, LOL. Great, great news! Like I said, my last shih ztu was 17&1/2 years. My present shih ztu is 10 years....will be 11 on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31).
I wanted you to know I got an email from the Q about my computer. It said, "We incorrectly advertised that this item included "Cool Sense Techology and Drived Guard Software" when it does not. Please accept our apologies. You may return this computer at no cost to you, just fill in the return form and mark the reason as "received different item than ordered" and affix Q label to package and return for full refund.
NOW THOSE OF YOU ON ADVANCED ORDER: You have advanced order on your HP computer and we also need to inform you that there has been an unexpected shipping delay that the vendor (HP) is experiencing and is due to arrive no later than October 7 (rather than Sept. 15). If you wish to cancel due to further delay of this item, you may do so or If your order ships and you wish to return, you can do so at no cost to you also.
So, they are letting us know about the cool sense, ...I bet because you informed them of this. As of right now, I don't think this will make a difference to me. Do we need this cool sense technology?
Anyway, wanted you to know about this email. You may have received it also, but it also let us "advanced order" customers that there is even a further delay on getting the HP laptop. I still think this is a great deal, especially the 17" and TSV price, backlit keyboard and the rose gold color, even the keys on the keyboard is rose gold. I also got this TSV deal during the TAX FREE weekend so that saved me another $60.
I think I will keep it when it comes, but I appreciate you informing the Q about your concerns and how they informed us of it along with our delay.
Hope you are feeling a little better, take care of yourself and your precious baby. I'll check back soon.

I didn't want to say anything but it was me that had HP and Alex the HP rep check on this. I really thought it was there and I just couldn't find it. When HP told me it was not there and had a "dynamic and thermal platform" cooling system I contacted Alex/HP rep on his Facebook page. He said the specs showed it and he would check on it as he was not aware it was not there. He messaged me the next day saying it was not there and he apologized several times as he was not aware it was not. He was awesome and was going to notify QVC of this.
I didn't say anything on this forum as it was an honest mistake. Alex told me that the HP Pavilions definitely have them on it. He said QVC TSV is part of the HP series made for them. That was not a deal breaker but I think someone should go through all the spec sheets and make sure what they receive before it is sold and are the correct specs. QVC was great about my return with no return charge and apologized as well as the Rep. Alex. I am sure the other system on it will be fine. My HP computer was on a lot and it was whisper quiet and there was no heat from the vents at all. At the time I was concerned at what my outcome health wise would be and the bills that followed. Now I know there were no tumors etc. I would reorder and get the 17" in red. I didn't see anything else missing.
I think Alex addressed what I asked and that QVC did an "awesome job" telling QVC so they could let their customers know this. It is a beautiful computer and I look forward to purchasing another one when they have their next special.
I gave my Precious a big hug from you too. Do the same for yours from me. I have never seen such a calm and loving dog breed that does well with kids and everyone. They are great for people with allergies. I used to work for an allergist and this is the dog he suggested when asked. I am so blessed in many ways. We had another good night so I will enjoy every day as being her Mommy.
I am sorry you have to wait until October for your beautiful rose laptop but it is worth the wait. No one else has commented here that received theirs.
You have been a sweet new friend here and your emails have been appreciated. We are in upstate New York and safe.
I hope you are also safe with the terrible storms in the US right now. 🙋🏻😊

@MKR14.....YES, as I stated above....I just knew it was your brillant detective work and reporting that brought about the Q's email to all of us who ordered this TSV. Thank you again.
Yes, I can wait.....I am excited to get my rose gold 17" computer and I truly hope you get your 17" red one soon. Make sure it's an HP, cause they are the best.
I will give my baby shih ztu a hug from you and your baby. I love my little girl. Her name is Kaylin and she is a mess, lol.
I am so glad we have posted to each other these past several days and I look forward to posting more in the future. In fact, I would like to invite you to an ongoing thread I am a part of in the "Community Chat" forum called, "Showme's Mr. Lucky"....if you would like to join us. It's a bunch of crazy acting women, lol...who just talk about their days, post crazy funny pictures and support each other. If you want to join in, please do. We would all love to have you.
I am glad you are away from the storms. We were blessed and did not have much damage (just a few branches in the front and back yard from oak trees), but I live in South Carolina (inland)...not on the ocean side. We did (our area) take in evacuees from both Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA.
Meanwhile, you give your baby a big ole hug from me and my baby. Have a wonderful night ahead and hope you post on that thread or....just check in here. ((HUGS))
