Don't be an idiot. There are plenty of classic American cars still on the road.
I'll never understand the misplaced passion for foreign cars.

Update on my car lights: I just came back from Honda. The brake light switch and Pedal Stopper were replaced - Cost $51. I go to Honda of Oxnard - where I live. They are very honest and do a great job plus they also wash ur car. I LUV my Honda.

So happy it was not a super costly repair and they could fix it easily.

Glad to hear you made out fairly cheaply today, I wasn't as fortunate. My wife dropped off a rear tire from our lawnmower because it kept going flat. I looked around all the tread and could not find a nail or hole in it.
Went to pick it up and? Not dice, it could not be repaired. Any time there is a whole or trear below the tread on the tire? It is toast. Instead of $15 I had to shell out $50 for the tire and another $15 to the bad tire taken off the wheel and the new one put on. Now I gotta look at this tire and see what the heck may have caused this.
Had the same thing happen on our Toyota and the tire had only 600 miles on it. Even though I had a Road Hazard Warranty, it does not cover sidewall damage as it does not fall under "manufacturing defect".
Car manufacturers or dealers do not cover the warranty on tires, that is done by the tire manufacturer. I ended up paying about $90 to replace this tire and that was with a discount given by the tired shop because I do business with them all the time. The dealer told me the same thing except the cost would have been $115 instead of the $90.
Glad your problem worked out better than mine.
