Question About Clear Motion Rate

I just recently purchased a 22" Samsung tv and a 50" Samsung tv. I have both tvs set in standard mode for the picture. Both also have the clear motion feature on off. It seems okay on the 22" set but on the 50" I sometimes can see a blurring and slow motion effect. Some I believe have called it the soap opera effect (SOE). Should I enable this feature? TIA

Re: Question About Clear Motion Rate

Try it and if you don't like it you can always turn it back off.

From what I learned from Samsung the content being played and the way it is produced makes a difference in having this feature turned on or turned off. Have read some like it with Blu-ray DVD in 3D as he enhances the active 3D experience.

Looking at Samsung as being my next big screen TV for our patio room. The Super Size 110"" in our basement entertainment room will still be the biggest however.

Re: Question About Clear Motion Rate

I have the picture in movie mode and turned off clear motion feature. I don't know if I should keep it that way. I looked on line for suggestions for the best settings for all the different categories and not sure I'm happy with the picture I'm getting. I guess it takes some fine tuning to get the settings just right.
