I do not take this seriously. You DO NOT need a payment history. The first purchase my daughter made was a computer on 6 easy pays, with a debit card AND no previous history (and I might add, not a high monthly salary either. or a high credit score) Nothing to "FAX" over, nothing to verify. What is the "REAL" story here? And really, to say some retailer makes you "sick"???? how mature

For some reason this order hit the security fraud alert button. Then QVC security would have had to further investigate. Certain things cause flags to raise and the customer has to be vetted. Certain items, certain dollar amounts, certain addresses, etc raise fraud alerts and put the order on hold until the merchant has done it's due diligence.

OP, did you escalate this to management to get to the bottom of this?

wells fargo debit card... 236 a month is well within my budget

Okay enough this is getting boring. Can you tell us what reason QVC Customer Support gave you for suspending your acct, and not honoring your purchases? That should of been asked by someone long ago. Only QVC really knows the "the full reason" and if you didn't contact them and came here just to blast them, well then it's your fault. Just sayin.

This thread sounds very odd to me.. For QVC to suspend your orders they must have had good reason for this.

the only reason to use easy pay is for items u cannot afford all at once.. i mean get real here.. if u cant order nothing but low ticket items there is no need for easy pay.. catch 22 if u ask me.. no troll here.. just doesn't make since the payment cleared with my bank fine.. so yea im angry.. it was a television around 1000 if i was trying to dupe qvc i would have tried the 3000 one smh

The reason for easy pay is to budget your order into three or more installments if you wish to go that way. I do this when I have four or more items in my cart .Not because I cannot afford to pay the full price. Just saying!

No one has mentioned credit score, at least not that I noticed. Perhaps a low rating would negate a huge EZ Pay purchase???

The whole thing is rather odd. And to top it all off the OP has to wait for the original hold to be removed for a product that she won't be receiving. I would imagine that could be 2-3 days. If Q had cancelled the order the hold should have been removed immediately IMO.

The OP said she used a Wells Fargo debit card. Holds generally take longer to be removed when a debit card is used for the purchase, sometimes a week or more.

I purchased an item on the 23rd and my account was suspended... i had to fax some stuff in to verify i was who i was to complete my order and was assured my order would go through if i verified... however my account has been reopened but my order was canceled... they said i didn't have enough payment history for easy pay... so why make me go through all the trouble of faxing things and being told my order would be fine if they were going to cancel my order.. im so angry about this.. in my opinion qvc is a joke... and they said i can order low ticket items but refused to say how low.. i don't even know what my limit would be.. terrible business practices on qvc's part.

Don't say this..I have just joined.. Smiley Wink

Don't worry Amada. QVC is a great place to shop. I've dealt with them for years. I want to say it's been close to 30? I know my son was very small when I started with QVC and he is 32. My mom also buys a lot from them. No worries.

Assuming this is a legitimate post, I would think the OP would have caught the attention of QVC's fraud department long before an actual purchase with her/his questions on Facebook and this board. I actually even thought that, if I were QVC, I would question the order. Looks like they did (if this is true.)
