Does anyone have any details (cost / phone brand) about this upcoming TSV ? Or suggestions as to where I could get the information?
I currently have a samsung tracfone that I will need to add mins/data etc in July; but may be more cost effective to get a new phone.
Thanks in advance for your help.

DH and I both have Tracfone. We bought our phones when the minutes were tripled each time minutes were purchased but that “perk” is no longer available. It may be too early to know the details of the TSV.

@shoptheQ The insider is no longer published with advance TSVs. Q usually releases TSV info a couple of days before the actual TSV. I probably will be available around 6/24.

Keep in mind the Tracfone TSV may be a different brand than your Samsung. I have a Tracfone LG phone that was a TBV on Evine about a year ago. (It works fine, however!)

I'm confused. How could it be cheaper to buy a new Trac Smartphone that it just buying minutes and data for the phone you already have?????

🌾 🌾 Here we go again!
@OKPrincess, if you bought a TracFone that triples, then talk, text, and data will ALWAYS triple, as long as you buy from the 'Pay As You Go' menu.
The 'Pay As You Go' plans all have the ability to triple.
The 'Smartphone Only' plans don't triple, period.
The 'Add On's', (text or data bought separately menu) don't triple.
If you have a smartphone you can buy from any of the menus. You aren't required to buy from the Smartphone Only menu.
Calculate the best menu deal for the way you use your phone. I've never bought from the Smartphone Only menu for either of my smartphones because it doesn't offer a good deal for me.

Brand is LG but that’s all the details I’ve seen so far.

I buy a new phone every year for my 81 year old Dad. The last phone I got him was under $80. It came with a year of service + 1200 minutes, 1200 texts & I can’t remember how much data. When I checked tracfone I couldn’t find any offers that included a year of service for under $99. He doesn’t use a lot of minutes or data so the main thing is the year of service. As long as I transfer from his old phone before the service is up all his minutes carry over.

@Tribesters Last year I bought a year of service for my TracFone for $50 online. I did not need any more mins., data, etc.
I do text a lot so I also recently bought 1,000 texts for $5.00.
My service year will end in Sept. and I may do the same thing in Sept. and just extend the service for 365 days.
Would this help you?

I looked online but the cheapest year of service I could find was just under $100. Where did you find the $50 offer? I even tried to buy it directly from Tracfone & didn’t see that good a price. I know they have good deals on minutes but most of the ones I saw had 30-90 days of service.
