Problem with Norton not detecting any threats

For about 2 or 3 weeks now when I run my full scan or quick scan it never shows any threats detected I always had some show up before . I can't figure out how to find out why ,any sugestions? (very simple please)I know a lot of people do not like Norton but I have used their product for over 10 years and this is the first time I have had any issues with it.
