Did you close the setting app by double click home button, then flick up on the app? If so, did you try again and get the same message? If you did, try turning the pad off, then on, and try again. Please report back and let us know how this worked...or not.

I double clicked the home button, but do not understand what you mean FLIP UP ON THE APP? Flip up how? What app? I am not savvy at this!

When you double click the home button, do you see how it turns the apps smaller? This shows all of the apps you currently have open. You can scroll with your finger, right or left, and should see a small screen of the app and the apps icon at the bottom. To close any of those apps you put your finger on it, and at the same time push up, and take your finger off. It's sort of a fast motion. You push up and take your finger off at the same time. Also called flicking. So double click the home button do this and look for the app that looks like the settings, the grey app with the gear on it. When you find it, flick it up. This turns the app off. The double click the home button again to get back to the home screen. Then click on the app again from your home screen

Glad this thread was a helpful heads-up!

Lynnj, Thanks for the advice about Bluetooth. The update turned it on in my devices, too. As you said, there's no need for us to have it switched on and consuming battery life if we don't use it.
