Hi Y'all. Yesterday tried to sign in to my Tracfone account and received message: your email account needs to be verified. Tried everything and never received any verification codes they said they sent. Called today and was on the phone for 1 /12 hours but felt like for ever. She said I didn't have WiFi on. I told her everything indicated connected. Nothing worked. I per her instructions deleted the app and reinstalled 4 times. Gave her another email address. Finally locked out of my account and advised to try again late tomorrow. So sad because my Dh has his Tracfone account and has the same message .🙄😯😥😥. I to do alot for DH because of his medical issues.
Has anyone had this problem with your Tracfone account and any suggestions?

The same thing happen to me last night, but I just hit the wrong thing on my phone and got a verification # I don't know why?
I try not to call them if I can help it.
I text 611611 help and usually get an answer. It may work for you. Worth a try.

@SouthernBee - Have you tried just shutting your phone off and rebooting it?
Also, have you set up an online account? (On your computer or tablet, not the app.) That's how we always activate our phones and buy additional data or texts. I can see every phone we've ever had.
I've never had that happen and we've had Tracfones for 24 years now.

Im sorry. It says on my text do 611611 then reply help 24/7 services for information on available services. It works for me They are 24h services.

@Venezia : Thank you. I also have the online account with the same message and locked out.
The cell phone was shut off several times and rebooted. I am worn out.
I didn't understand why my email needed to be verified because the account isn't new.

OK, but this is a 24hr service.
In todays world, everything takes so long and no help. Can't get people on the phone, get a wong message, etc etc.
I understand your frustration.
Ive been dealing with DMV, Best buy to ask how much my tracfone will cost if I keep it and don't buy a new one. I finally got someone at Best Buy and I couldn't understand what he was saying and had to hang up.
Well, try tomorrow, but They alsways answer me. Maybe the person couldn't answer your question, who knows.
I just text them to get my data, mins and text and it worked , but who knows anymore.
I wish we could go back to the days of just dialing land line and gettig someone to help.
I will pray you get help tomorrow.

It sounds very odd. Maybe there's just a glitch in the system somewhere and the rep gave the best advice. Wait and try again tomorrow.
ETA: @SouthernBee - Well, I just tried to log into my online account, using the same password as always and it's suddenly telling me I need to include a special character. Not a message I've ever gotten before. I suspect Verizon is making some changes/updates.
I log in using my phone number, not my email. Have you tried that?

I am worn out. Have been dealing with a variety of problems for the last two days plus working on income tax stuff.
