Not receiving Email from just one server

I Email regularly with someone. She is much more reliable than me, so when I have not heard from her in a few days, there is a reason beyond lazy neglect. Such is the case recently.

I wrote her Thursday PM, and fully expected to receive a reply by Friday AM. I did not, and she failed to answer another Email sent yesterday, asking how/where she is. So I called today to inquire.

She shocked me by saying she has sent me 4 Emails since Friday AM. I've received none of them, and none have been returned to her. While we talked, she forwarded them to me again. That was six hours ago, and I still have not received any of them.

I am receiving (commercial) Email, and she is receiving my mail, so am confused by this. Her server is RoadRunner. Does anyone have an explanation?
