Just activated last night and all seems to work EXCEPT I cannot access Voice Mail by tapping the Icon.  Called Tracfone 3 times and they cannot fix.  They say I need to use VM by dialing *86 and  follow prompts.  Does anyone with more knowledge than these people have any suggestions?  It's not a huge deal but it is a new phone and I am not happy.

The  tracfone i had before was a LG premire...and was told same thing..so i wouldn't use it...too much trouble for me   also!

I now have the Moto G6...and not sure if i will set " voice mail up...."

I tell family and friends..send me a text message,

"but"

if you call and i don't answer it ...send me a text!;

First you have to set up your voicemail.

That's where you select your password, record your greeting, etc.

I found that on page 18 of your owners manual.

Once that's done, to access your voicemail go to home screen, tap phone icon, touch & hold voicemail icon and follow the prompts.

I found that on page 110 of your  manual, presuming you have a Galaxy J3 Orbit (QVC item E242592).

They show 3 Orbit's, 3 different item numbers, and you didn't say which QVC item you bought..

I haven't set up my voicemail on my last two TracFone's.

Why should I? This is not 1985!

When people leave a voicemail and I call them back, they repeat everything they said in the voicemail anyhow.

Never fails.

Learned on my first TracFone once you set up the voicemail you can't un-do it.

All I do on my Tracfone is open the phone icon and go to the numbers that you dial. Hold down the number 1 for a few seconds and it asks for your PIN number then you hit the

 # sign. It says you have ( it tells you if and how many voice messages you have)  say 3 voice mail messages and to hear them Press 1. Then to erase Press 7. Press 1 after each one.

Exit out.

I have the Tracfone Fiesta 2.

I can think of other ways to get your voicemail messages.

Other ways that are quicker 🐌 than this.

But since @bargainsgirl called TracFone staff asking how to use this feature,

this is the method she wants to use.

I'm going to have to buy a new TracFone soon. Looks like they're phasing out the 3G line.
