The model # is 6052e. My printer/scanner/copier needs are much much less than they used to be. Also, I printed a lot of photos so I needed the extra photo printing capabilities. So much smaller/sleeker than my 9 year old HP. Does anyone here have this model? Is it holding up well. I've had HP printers for decades and have been happy with all of them except for the whole industry wide ink ripoff/racket.

The HP printer I have had for about 5 years is doing fine and I'm impressed with their Customer Service.
There was a glitch after a Microsoft download about a year ago. I called HP customer service and a very smart tech spent about 3 hours trying to get my printer to work again ... and nada.
So, they transferred me to her supervisor who also took over my laptop and two hours later had fixed the connections.
Long story short, the Microsoft download didn't update everything, and the inconsistencies caused my HP printer to just not cooperate.
What amazed me was that I had Hewlett Packard CS on the phone for about 5 hours ... no charge, of course. I asked the supervisor and he said they MUST determine the problems and get machines up and running because it has to go into the system so future problems can be fixed and avoided with future downloads. Online repairs shouldn't take 5 hours.
I was exhausted and surprised that they stuck with me until my printer and laptop were compatible again, but that's the only problem with HP I've encountered.

I have had an HP 8025 printer for a little over a year now. The printer is good once you figure it out. The settings are a wee bit difficult to set at times.

HP printers always satisfy me. I have used them exclusively at work before retiring and in my home office setup. I once ventured to a Cannon and before a month went by, I had reinstalled the HP that I had planned to take to Staples to donate to their electronic recycling. I eventually did buy a newer HP model in 2022 to connect to a new computer. I didn't buy the new computer until 2023, but strangely when I set it up, I connected the new HP printer and the old Deskjet 3520. I love my 17-year-old 3520, It still prints beautifully, and the scan, copy, and other features work. I probably won't part with it until I can no longer find ink cartridges that fit.

HP printers are pretty reliable. I have an ancient HP laserjet printer (black only). It was given to me used about 15 years ago. No wifi, I have to walk the laptop upstairs.
The toner cartridge is around $100 but I last replaced it 10 years ago so no complaints. I will keep this as long as it works.

We bought an Epson EcoTank all in one printer last year. It comes with a bottle of each color ink. You turn the bottle of each ink upside down to fill the ink tanks. No mess, no dripping ink. I don't know how the ink does not come out when you turn it upside down to put on tank? It stops filling when tank is full. No ink comes out when you remove the bottles. There will only be a little ink left in each bottle. The refill bottles are $14 each.
This is why we bought this printer. We are not interested in spending a fortune on ink.
Bought the printer end of Aug last year. The color tanks are practically full. The black is half full. You have to fill the tanks before they are empty. Once it goes dry it says it won't work. You can see the ink levels on the front of the printer.
It's smaller than our Canon all in one we had. Does everything we need.

When I was looking for a new printer, I bought HP because my laptop is HP and I assumed it would make a difference with compatibility. I don't know for sure, but it probably has.

I'm in the market for a new hp printer.
Mine is at least 10 years old and has a few glitches, my hp desktop is 12.
My dear sister did all the installing and technical stuff.
I have a question, once you scan a document, how do you get it to your computer, I need to do pdf's.
I really lost with all this.
That is a good looking printer.

We have always had HP printers Right now we have 8010e. We need a Fax, and it has this. I'm happy with it, and it's a lot faster than our other one.
I did take advantage of HP's ink program for the first time. Every time I bought cartridges at Staples or Office Max I spent $100. BJ's had it once, and I got excited, but I never saw it there again. We can always cancel, but this is a lot less expensive!
