I did place an order for one.  Thank you all for your help.  I am going to use it for my bedroom.  I have terrible insomnia issues, and soft music does help me to fall asleep. 

 

I don't need a lot of bells & whistles for that, just good sound quality that I can not get with my portable CD player.  I have looked at these before but the $400+ pricing kept me from ordering.  I just happened to see this one, and thought now is the time to try.  Smiley Happy

My only concern with purchasing this is that it has a CD slot inside of the CD door on top of the unit. I have just a lot of reveiw's on Amamzon and many ( the number one complaint) say that the CD gets stuck in the unit and it has to be sent to Bose to be repaired. Can anyone who has the model with the CD slot tell me if they have had any issue's with the CD's getting stuck or not playing certain CD's.
