We've had Direct tv for a few years with few problems. Last week we had a small issue with our dvr plus we wanted to get HD in one of the rooms so we had a direct tv tech come over. I won't go in to all the details of the morning just to say he was very rude and didn't seem to know answers to my questions and seemed annoyed that he had to answer anything. After he left we noticed that he didn't even bother to put the hd wire from the box to the tv so we still didn't have hd. Anyway, when they called later that night with a survey we took it and then got connected to a superviser and my husband told him everything that this guy did. They were super nice and appoligetic and the supervisor from this area called the next day and promised to come over personally and fix the wire problem and try to gain our trust again. So we made an appointment for Tuesday between 8am and 12. Well, it's now almost 5 and he hasn't shown. Yup, I feel better about Direct tv already. The reason I'm posting here is because they wouldn't let me register on the direct tv forum.
