@Cha1
I have two iPads, a mini which I'm on now and the bigger one. I can't get a connection on the larger one which is not as old. There were down loads installed the other day but I'd think that would effect both iPads?? I cleared the history and it's still not working. I just turned it off.
Any ideas what the problem might be? I had AppleCare but doubt if it's useable now. It's been about 3 yrs ago that I bought it.
TIA

Try turning off your internet connection and rebooting it.

@Mmsfoxxie, There are several things to try. Sometimes if you shut down the device and reboot it, when it searches for the connection it will find it. Sometimes, just turning on "Airplane Mode" then shutting down and restarting, then turning off "Airplane Mode" will help the device connect.
Another thing to try: Go into Settings, WiFi, and check to see if the device is actually "seeing" your router. If so, you can try tapping "Forget this network," then reboot the device, and then set up the connection again.
Also, you can go into Settings, under General, and choose "Reset." Then choose "Reset Network Settings." Then you can set up the connection anew.
hth! Let us know if it's still not connecting.

Back in business. Got my baby back! I turned it off for about 15 minutes and that seems to have worked. I had to reset my QVC password to get on here, though, cause I had it stored and couldn't remember it, lol.
Thanks so much dooBdoo!

These are the first steps I take whenever I have connection issues, but usually the Airplane Mode before the reboot because it's often the fastest and easiest fix.
All of this is great advice!

I played around with the airplane mode, too, but I really didn't know what that was. Turning it off is what did it, though.

Airplane mode on any device shuts of your wi-fi and your data plan. It saves your battery.
