Am I correct that Microsoft Office 365 requires the internet to be able to use it?  How does one get any work done or access their documents when the internet goes down?

@IcegoddessIsn't that true of almost everything we do on the Internet?

Years ago when I was processing on a Commodore and not on the Internet, I accessed everything on its floppy disk.  Nothing even close to today's Office capabilities, of course.  I doubt any one wants to return to that computer era.

You don't have to be online all the time, but you do need an internet connection to set everything up. You get all the Office products to download and install on your computer as well as having access to the online versions. PC and Mac. And you can save your files locally. I have an annual subscription to Office 365 and I think it's an amazing value for the money.

Okay, thanks.  That's a lot better.
