I have been getting this message for three days. I have cleared cookies & cache and rebooted several times. I am still getting it. Can someone give me some suggestions on what else I can do? It is so annoying. I have no idea what caused this to happen. Thanks for any suggestions you can give me.:![]()

Download a program called 'CCleaner'. It's free and run that. I'm using Edge right now! HTH!

That happened to me when this computer was almost NEW, I had to get technical help from my provider. It was a programming glitch.

Try downloading/reinstall the Edge browser again.
Go to microsoft dot com/edge to download and reinstall Microsoft Edge.
Or go to the MIcrosoft Store and download it from there. Search Edge.
It takes just minutes!
Microsoft Store icon...click that and search for Edge Browser.

@SilleeMee Thank you I will try that. It doesn't happen when I am on a website, it is trying to get to the website it happens. Thanks again everyone for your help!

@SilleeMee I reinstalled it and it is still happening. I may just have to contact Microsoft.

Try Reset Settings.
Three dots in upper right corner, go to Settings. Left side look for Reset Settings.
The unresponsive browser could be happening b/c of an add-on extension or some app running on the browser.

@SilleeMee by doing this what will it reset? Do I need to do anything after that? I'm sorry, I am not real technical but have been learning alot lately.![]()

This is what MS says Reset Settings will do:
This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also turn off all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.
