I could sure use some advice on managing my itunes apps. I nearing 300 apps because I always check the good deals on smartappsforkids.com. (Anyone know of other good sites for good deals on productivity apps?) I have downloaded these to my laptop and now it seems really slow. What is the best way to store these off my computer, and if I do that what do I do when they have an update? I'm a bit confused about icloud, but I thought I read where you still need to download the app somewhere in case itunes no longer has the app. Thanks for any advice anyone can give!

Lots of apps won't slow down your computer. The ONLY exception is if the hard drive has less than 20% free. Where are you using these apps? Your iPad, iPhone, iMac, or Macbook pro?

I have a hard time thinking a computer would be slowed down by apps, even 300 of them, because they're usually small and designed to be run on a phone or iPad with much less RAM, storage, and processing speed than a notebook or desktop computer.

What kind of computer do you have? How old is it? How much RAM does it have and how bug is the hard drive? Do you have antivirus/anti-malware software on it and, more importantly, how often do you update and run the antivirus scans?

If you have 300 apps, how well does your iPhone or iPad seem to be running with them all on there? Or are they all on your computer and not on the phone/iPad yet?
