Re: LePan mini tablet sales rep

Does anybody remember the Haier TSV, it was more money then this and it was awful! They are selling this just like they did that, I would be cautious about buying a cheap tablet, just my own opinion!

Oh yes, there was a lengthy thread here about all of the problems with that. Hmmm, maybe William Joseph should add a search of Haier tablet for more info about cheap technology.

Re: LePan mini tablet sales rep

Don't know if this is a decent product or not, but at least it's part of QVC's CIJ on extended return, so if someone wants to try a tablet and this is their price point, they have 6 months to return it if not satisfied.

Re: LePan mini tablet sales rep

I don't understand why Lisa doesn't let the sales representative speak.....she goes on and on with her ""high end"" and doesn't pass along the information...For half hour just talking about herself..... was so happy tha last weekend she was not around....it was a pleasure to see Sandra taking over her show..Sandra is very nice detailed when explain the product and very pleasant!!! Every weekend when I eant to see some special on QVC I have to deal with Lisa the whole weekend!!! Enough!!! She is very annoying ...we don't want to know what she LOVES but what is about the product!!!

Lynnj, are you serious or joking about asking William Joseph to do anything? It's clear to me that he thinks women are dumb.

Re: LePan mini tablet sales rep

I purchased the LePan set it up as shown on the video but I can't change Pacific time

which it seems to be set on to Eastern. Can anyone help me? I'm a first time user.

Tried the clock app but it seems I only added Eastern time and did not change the

Pacific. Thanks.

You probably have to change the time zone in settings somewhere.

At Home screen; tap "Applications" (6 dots in a circle at bottom center of screen); this should bring you to a screen full with apps. Swipe the screen to the left and you will come to a screen that will have about 9 apps and show "Settings" app. Tap "Settings" and scroll down left column and tap "Date & Time." Now in right column Tap "Automatic date & time" and tap Off - this will turn off factory setting for time zone; next tap and set time if you need to. Now tap "Select time zone" and scroll to your time zone. Review the choices as there several to choose from - it does list Eastern Time; Central Time (do not confuse with Central America); Mountain Time and Pacific Time. Choose your zone. The next choice will be for 24-hour format - do not tap this unless you desire it - standard 12-hour format will run otherwise. Finally, tap "Choose date format" and select your preferred style. After that, tap the arrow back or home and you should be good to go.

Hope my details make it easy.

Re: LePan mini tablet sales rep

I bought this tablet and it's amazing. Reviews on Amazon are 5 star. I own several well known brands, samsung note, galaxy and several kindles. This tablet is every bit as good and actually nicer in some areas. I DID Google LePan and read the amazon reviews and that along with qvc's extended return clinched it for me. Its AMAZING, clear picture, nice camera, smooth fast response on the screen and downloads are quick and easy. I got a GREAT deal on a fabulous tablet. Too bad it's sold out but I'd buy again from Amazon even though it costs more there.
